Actor Morgan Freeman was pictured arriving on stage at the Oscars and donning a satin glove on his hand.
This particular glove was covering his hand which became paralyzed as a result of a devastating car accident that arose nearly 15 years ago.
The scenes certainly left the audience confused as to why the celeb was donning such an accessory over his hand during such a prestigious awards night.
The 85-year-old acclaimed actor was seen donning the glove while escorting actress Margot Robbie on stage. It was nothing small and that’s exactly why so many people were having a hard time ignoring it.
On that note, fans took to their accounts on social media to speculate and discuss the matter and that’s when it was debated how the actor’s hand had become paralyzed after he was involved in the most devasting car accident.
Despite that being an incident of the past, the consequences could not be ignored. And 15 years on, he’s still dealing with the grim situation that has really affected his life.
The famous actor from Shawshank Redemption appeared dapper as ever in his stylist and tailor-fitted black-toned tuxedo. But that’s not all.
He was accompanied by the beautiful Margot Robbie who really appeared stunning in a beautiful off-the-shoulder gown in black. Clearly, the presenters were matching perfectly.
It was the year 2008 when Freeman’s vehicle had flipped over several times with him inside. But doctors told the star that three years down the line, his hand would improve. But that was not the case.
It became immobile due to significant nerve damage injury and since then, he’s been forced to wear a compression glove to ensure the blood flow is still there.
