Sources from local media outlets were quick to mention how the celeb and his partner were not appropriately dressed as per the eatery’s dress code. They opted to show up in tennis gear and that went against the restaurant’s rules.

The restaurant owner has since doubled down and refused to generate any apology on the matter. He feels that he cannot give others a justification on why Russell Crowe was denied entry, despite being a leading celeb from the entertainment industry.

“It’s not fair on my other customers. I have to say that we here take and treat all of our customers equally”- he continued.

The eatery is one that’s famous for its food and service but at the same time, they tend to call out those that break rules. And in this case, it happens to be the actor and his girlfriend.

Despite assistance from their respective assistants in trying to let them in, it was shocking to see how the owner never budged. He turned his face away.

The restaurant in Melbourne claims that this is not an unusual finding. People don’t fit the eatery’s dress codes on multiple occasions and they just make it easier for them as they aren’t allowed to dine. They are indeed sent away, similar to what happened with Russell Crowe and his loving partner.

The Japanese fusion restaurant mentioned how it has to turn away many who love to wear cozy and comfortable gym outfits to the eatery too. And they’re just blatantly rude about it, showing them the door.
