According to local media reports, the Department of State stated on Thursday how they were in search of Joaquin El Chapo’s son named El Chapito Guzman Lopez.

For those who may not be aware, he is a high-ranking criminal and leading drug trafficker and for that reason, the department wants anyone with any information that could lead to his potential arrest to come forward.

The updated image took center stage, right after the agency had made use of a picture that had his other brother mistakenly on it. For this reason, the department mentioned how Cezar Guzman was not involved in the family drug business and that the previous image was an error.

El Chapito is reportedly one of El Chapo’s sons who holds a leading ranking when it comes to the Sinaloa Cartel. Both he and his other brother Ovidio had been indicted by the authorities in the high-profile criminal act that reportedly took place on the 2nd of April in the year 2018.

The duo was each charged with conspiracy regarding the incident and accused of delivering more than 5 kilograms of the drug cocaine, 500g of methamphetamine, and even 1000kg of marijuana too.

This makes four of El Chapo’s sons under investigation or under indictment by the country’s federal agents, revealed a recent report.

Just last month, the country’s Homeland Security Department had reportedly offered three separate bounties worth nearly $5 million for any information related to the arrest or the conviction of Joaquin’s three brothers.
