A terrifying incident involving the death of a 10-week-old infant has surfaced.

The mother was called out for shaking her child so brutally that she could breathe no more. And that is what led to her tragic and heartbreaking death, sources have confirmed.

The mother reportedly was very careless regarding her little infant, the court heard. Often when the child used to cry, she would ignore the sounds and make excuses including how she had grown so tired of taking care of her own child.

On one particular occasion, it was revealed that she was having dinner and ignored the child, stating how she did not feel like attending to it.

And just weeks later, the little toddler passed away. The mother has been accused of shaking her little daughter named Lilly to death. She continued until she was sure that the child had died, leaving loved ones shocked and in grief about what was taking place.

The judge heard how the 10-week-old child died instantly after the devastating injuries that she had received.

The suspect has been identified as 25-year-old Lauren Saint George who is now facing charges linked to infanticide.

The baby girl was rushed to the doctor’s office and that’s when doctors at the emergency department were horrified to learn about the extent of damage that had occurred. Her cause of death included a fatal head injury and fracture to her tiny ribs.

After being found guilty of the brutal act, she is now facing life in prison. But many loved ones are still in complete shock as to how a mother could end up abusing her own child with such violent actions.
