A receptionist working at a fitness center tragically passed away after taking two Ecstasy pills at a music festival with her friends.
According to local media reports, the young woman named Kelsey Corps was just 20 years old when she passed away last July when she and her friends opted to attend a music festival together.
The young woman took two ecstasy pills and then collapsed at the event. She had to be rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics who deemed her medical condition to be critical. Later, it was revealed how her organs began to shut down, one by one. And as a result, she passed away at the hospital, as revealed by an inquest recently.
Kelsey was from Lancaster and had traveled to Preston to attend the famous Wonderwood festival with her closest pals. But little did she know about the tragedy that awaited her.
Friends stated that the 20-year-old was seen taking two tablets, alongside vodka as she opted to party the night away at the dance music festival. Suddenly, she fell to the ground, all of sudden, making her friends panic as they did not know what happened.
One of her pals quickly ran and got some water, in an effort to try and revive her, but he just couldn’t find any. As minutes went on by, her condition began to deteriorate and that’s when paramedics rushed to the scene of the incident.
Kelsey passed away the next morning, as revealed by her parents. She was deemed to be a fun-loving young woman who loved having a great time and a good laugh. However, it was revealed that she did tend to make use of recreational drugs whenever she was at a party.
Her friend mentioned how both of them had agreed to ‘get off their heads’ and for that reason had purchased the tablets. But they had no idea about the consequences that their actions would bring.
