BREAKING: 18-Year-Old Guardsman Who Walked Beside The Queen’s Coffin During Procession Is Found DEAD


A young soldier who participated in the Queen’s funeral procession less than two weeks ago was found dead by his comrades.

18-year-old Trooper Jack Burnell-Williams was a dedicated guardsman and a role model young man who played a key role in several ceremonial events following the Queen’s death.

Among other parts he played in giving the late monarch the sendoff she deserved, Jack guarded senior royals as he walked beside the Queen’s coffin during the procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey.

As MailOnline now revealed, the teenager was found dead at Hyde Park Barracks in London on Wednesday afternoon.

After the alarm was raised, paramedics rushed to the scene, and Burnell-Williams was pronounced dead.

According to the police, the death is currently not being treated as suspicious.

“Never ever thought I would be saying this but we as a family are all heartbroken with the sudden passing of our wonderful son Jack Williams yesterday,” the guardsman’s mother, Laura, wrote in her Facebook announcement.

Laura, 42, previously shared photos of her son on June 8 after the Blues and Royals member posed in his ceremonial uniform.

She also shared a video showing her son participating in Trooping of the Color as she insisted it marked “one of the proudest days of my life.”’

On September 14, after the Queen’s coffin procession to Westminster Abbey, she also said: “So proud of my boy accompanying his Queen on her final journey.”

Paying a tribute to his son was also Jack’s father Daniel Burnell who shared footage of his son taking part in the Queen’s funeral procession.

“My son doing his duty for the Queen on her final journey. So proud of you Jak Williams xx very proud father xx,” he expressed.
