Prince Harry is set to release his memoir in just several weeks despite the Queen’s death, a royal author claimed.

Tom Bower, a renowned British writer who published a biography on Meghan Markle just earlier this year, has spoken out and insisted that Prince Harry has no plans of delaying the release of his memoir.

The biographer claims that the Queen’s grandson is “insisting” on publishing the memoir in November as originally planned despite speculations that the release could be delayed due to unfortunate circumstances.

“I am told tonight that Harry is insisting that his book is published in November. Apparently the publishers are not too certain, but he says if they don’t publish it will be a breach of contract. That’s what I’m told,” Bower told GB News.

“It’s extraordinary. But on the other hand it fits the bill, because Harry and Meghan’s finances depend entirely on the book and on Netflix.”

The royal expert added: “And also, I think they are convinced they’re in the right and they want to get their own back.”

Not long after the allegations hit the headlines, a source close to the prince dismissed Bower’s claims.

Meanwhile, publishing sources suggested the memoir’s release could be delayed for as long as a year to allow more time for grieving and allot time for the prince to write additional chapters related to his grandmother’s passing.

“It is not a matter of a re-write, it’s a matter of a re-think. Were it to be published, if it had anything sensational it would be tasteless,” royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said as he weighed in on the matter and suggested that publishing the controversial memoir now would not mean anything good for Prince Harry.

“It is a matter for him how he wants to be perceived. With a new reign it is natural that his loyalty is to his father who is very fond of him.

“What better way to show his loyalty than by postponing, even permanently, the memoir which never should have been linked to the Queen’s jubilee year.”

Fitzwilliams concluded: “It would be inappropriate for him to publish anything that had any controversial content especially at this time.”
