Absolutely tragic and horrifying reports have gone on to speak about a young and pregnant woman being shot and killed after trying to rob occupants inside a car.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to mention how the young woman died during the failed robbery attempt and was directly fired at. She was outlined to be 7 months pregnant and received critical gunshot wounds to her body.
This not only killed her but her unborn child too, sources have confirmed. But those who carried out the horrifying ordeal and other witnesses that saw the incident did reveal some very insensitive remarks including how she deserved it because she was the one who initiated the terrifying behavior by trying to rob others.
The victim was identified as 21-year-old Genesis Escobar whose remains were dumped on the streets after being shot at. Her lifeless body lay on the sidewalk while her body happened to be covered in cash.
Those who witnessed the horror describe the sight as a very gruesome finding. Meanwhile, others claim that it was just terrifying and tragic to see the end of someone in this manner.
As investigations into this tragedy continued, the cops are still trying to figure out why did end up doing what she did. And also if she happened to be armed with any weapons during the attack.
The incident took place during the afternoon hours of Monday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood. Sources revealed how she attempted to climb into a stranger’s vehicle all of a sudden.
After climbing inside, she went straight to demanding money from them. But little was she aware of the fact that they were armed and didn’t hesitate one bit in shooting her dead.
