A pregnant mother-of-two has succumbed to her injuries after getting involved in a horrific car crash caused by a reckless driver.
38-year-old Frankie Jules-Hough was a loving mother of two who was expecting her third child when a BMW driver crashed into her on the motorway in Lancashire, England.
According to the reports, the mother was in the car with her two sons – including 2-year-old Rocky and 9-year-old Tommy – and her four-year-old nephew when the accident happened.
After the crash, the driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. While the children survived the ordeal, Frankie died in the hospital while fighting for her life.
“Life can be turned upside down in the blink of an eye,” Debbie Wright wrote as she launched a fundraiser for her best friend.
“On Saturday 13th May, Frankie Hough, along with her two children Tommy (9), Rocky (2) and her 4 year old Nephew Tobias Welby were driving on the M66 when they were devastatingly involved in a horrific major car crash. They were all transported via air ambulanced to the hospital and are in critical care.
“Frankie who is currently 18 weeks pregnant is in intensive care fighting for her life. Her partner Calvin, is frantically by her side.”
The statement continued: “I am humbly knocking on the door of your kind hearts to help and support this family as they go through this difficult time ahead.
“Due to the intense injuries and critical conditions, I’m sure you will be aware that their closest loved ones cannot leave their bed side. So I am asking you to find it in your kind hearts to please help my friend’s family by donating what you can.”
Unfortunately, Frankie succumbed to her wounds after putting up a brave fight for her life.
The BMW driver’s charges have since been upgraded to include dangerous driving resulting in death.
