Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a young and talented bodybuilder who reportedly died after being arrested by the cops.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how the bodybuilder was found pinned to the ground and that’s when he was reportedly said to have breathed his final breath, dying shortly afterward.
Witnesses present at the scene have also come forward to shed light on how the young athlete was extremely muscular in physique but the cops opted to pin him down for a considerably long time. And that was probably one of the major factors that led to his death, as confirmed by reports.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Joel Grech who passed away recently in the northern part of Melbourne, leaving his friends and loved ones as well as the community in absolute shock and grief.
Other reports went on to detail how he was arrested during the afternoon hours of Wednesday while being detained on the footpath.
Moreover, it was speculated that he was doing everything in his power to resist the arrest. It is believed that he conducted a savage attack against a 72-year-old elderly individual. And that’s why the cops were on his case.
Witnesses at the scene spoke more in detail about the terrifying behavior of the cops where Grech was held down in an awfully painful position for a while.
He was detailed over there for a while, lying completely face down while the officers continued to kneel on his back in that same manner.
Meanwhile, dashcam footage obtained by Channe 9 showed the exact moment when frantic paramedics rushed to the scene and tried to revive the bodybuilder but it was just too late.
He was dead. And now, a standard investigation as per protocol has been launched into his death as confirmed by a female spokesperson of the Victoria Police.
