The reputed 16th-century seer who may have predicted 9/11 and the rise of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler previously also revealed what’s in store for the year 2023.
Also known as the Prophet of Doom, Nostradamus was a French astrologer, physician, and seer who is best known for his collection of 942 poetic quatrains that supposedly predict the future.
Nostradamus is credited with predicting the Great Fire of London, the rise of Adolf Hitler, the 9/11 terror attacks, and the global pandemic to name a few.
While the alleged prophesies are sometimes very vague and inaccurate, we can only hope that the astrologer’s predictions for this year don’t come true any time soon.
Among other foretellings, the Prophet of Doom suggested some marine life could face extinction as a result of global warming and climate change.
“Like the sun the head shall sear the shining sea: The Black Sea’s living fish shall all but boil,” he wrote.
He also noted that “celestial fire” with rain down “on the royal edifice” which could either refer to a meteor hitting the UK or – in a metaphorical sense – to Prince Harry and Meghan’s attack on the Royal Family in their Netflix series and Harry’s memoir.
Unfortunately, we’re not done yet.
Nostradamus further claimed the year 2023 will come with “seven months great war, people dead through evil.”
This could potentially refer to an escalated conflict with Russia or another nuclear superpower.
Perhaps the scariest of all predictions, however, is the one saying that the antichrist will arrive on Earth around the year 2023 and that his war on humanity will last for long 27 years.
“The antichrist very soon annihilates the three. Twenty-seven years his war will last. The unbelievers are dead, captive, exiled. With blood, human bodies, water and red hail covering the earth,” he wrote.
