You may have heard a lot of stories about breastfeeding gone wrong but this next story about a mother who was left in a desperate situation while on a holiday will surely leave you stunned.
It’s quite often that most people fail to show the less glamorous side of parenting. But one mother is making sure the world knows how much effort it takes.
She reveals how her husband planned a great getaway trip for her and the young baby. The couple was super excited and knew they needed a break. On that note, they set out and about to their island destination. But little did they know what they were in store of.
The couple reportedly forgot to pack a breast pump. And what many people fail to talk about in a relationship is how much swelling a mother ends up experiencing since they’re not in reach of a breast pump.
“I felt as if my breasts were on fire! This was so shocking for me. I just did not know what to make of it!”- she went on to mention. Hence desperate times called out for desperate measures.
She explained to her husband that now he was the one who would be doing something that she’s never asked any man to do. And that is breastfeeding him. And although she was so uncomfortable at first, he certainly did not seem to mind.
“It was bizarre but he got the hang of it. Yes, it was awkward but sometimes you have to do things that you’re not prepared to do”- she continued.
Sharing her experience online, people were mortified as to what in the world was going on. But some felt that her husband must have enjoyed the vacation more than she.
Some even joked if she provided some cookies for him with the milk and just like that, the comments kept on coming in.
