The note also instructed the recipient on what to do with her body, confirming police’ suspicions that the mother planned to take her own life.

According to reports, the mother wrote the address of the family home in Upper Makefield where she committed the crimes.

After her sons’ deaths, Nguyen fled the home in her minivan at 7 am but police managed to track her down at a nearby parking lot four hours later.

District Attorney Matt Weintraub said of the children’s passing: “I have been praying for these boys and their surviving family for days. This defendant’s murder of two of her sons is unconscionable and horrific. We will do what needs to be done to seek justice for all of them.”

Police said that the crime may have stemmed from a disagreement regarding the rent the mother owed to her ex-husband’s family, who owns the property.

Nguyen will face two counts of first-degree murder, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of an instrument of crime.

In addition, she faces one count of attempted murder for allegedly trying to shoot her ex-husband’s nephew, who lives in the attached apartment of the duplex, only minutes after she shot her children.
