BREAKING: 20-Year-Old Mother Is Killed While Walking With Her 3-Month-Old Baby In New York City


A young mother was shot dead at point-blank while walking her baby in a stroller in New York City.

The shocking murder takes place in NYC’s Upper East Side where a 20-year-old mother was pushing her three-month-old baby in a stroller when she was approached by a gunman wearing black pants and a black hoodie on Wednesday evening.

According to the reports, the male suspect pointed a gun at the woman’s head and shot her execution-style at 8.23 pm.

The incident took place in an upscale neighborhood at the Lexington Avenue and 95th Street intersection which lies just yards away from Samuel Seabury Playground where children were playing.

As the police launched a manhunt for the gunman, NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell confirmed that the victim was shot in her head “from a very close range.”

After shooting the young mom, the suspect fled eastbound on foot. As of this writing, the gunman remains at large.

While the 20-year-old was rushed to the hospital, she was declared dead within an hour after getting shot in the head. The baby was reportedly not harmed.

Though the official motive for the brutal killing remains unclear, the authorities are considering the possibility that domestic violence played a role in the woman’s death.

“There is just no fear in using these guns on innocent New Yorkers and this is the result of that,” New York Mayor Eric Adams said as he vowed to bring the killer to justice.

“A woman is pushing a baby carriage down the block and is shot in point-blank range, it shows just how this national problem is impacting families.”

He added: “The over-saturation of guns, and dangerous people that repeatedly leave our criminal justice system to continue actions like this, it is what’s making the New York City Police Department and other law enforcement agencies… difficult to fight this issue.”
