A “beautiful” and dedicated mom suddenly passed away after falling from her bed and suffering a seizure.
25-year-old Natasha Simpson from Wales, UK, was sleeping in her bed on Sunday when she suffered a seizure and rolled off her bed.
While the first responders quickly airlifted the young mom to a specialist hospital some one hundred miles away, the woman reportedly suffered a “catastrophic” brain bleed on the way.
Once at the specialist unit, Natasha was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and placed on life support. Two days after being presumed brain dead, the life support was switched off and the mom was officially pronounced dead.
Simpson’s family has since the tragic death launched a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for the funeral and for 2-year-old Naylah who was “completely destroyed” by the loss of her mom.
“Debbie, Tasha’s 59-year-old mother, is also having such a hard time both financially and emotionally,” the page read.
“Not only has she lost her daughter and best friend but she now finds herself looking after Tasha’s daughter who is also grieving. Debbie isn’t in great health herself so is reliant on benefits.”
The sister-in-law of Natasha’s mother added:
“And, because no-one expects to lose their daughter at 25, no funeral plans had been put in place. We’re just trying to raise some money to help with the funeral and to give Naylah a couple of days out.
“Maybe a little holiday once the funeral is over. Something nice for her to help ease the grief.”
