A 20-year-old mother has recently passed away after being killed by a washing machine.
Tragic reports from local media outlets went on to shed light on a harrowing tragedy that has really made so many people realize how dangerous of a machine this really is.
The victim was identified as Viviane Rodrigues who never realized that her washing machine was still on and running. Therefore, she put her hand in accidentally to get her clothes. And that’s when she suffered from a mega electrical shock.
The heartbreaking incident took place at her residence in Juazeiro in Brazil, leaving her husband, kids, and other loved ones shocked and grieving for days.
“She wrongly assumed her load had finished. So she decided to put her hand in and retrieve the clothes but that was not the case. It was still running and she just got caught in the middle of it”- sources revealed after speaking to her loved ones in regards to the tragedy.
Her husband was at home and he immediately saw his wife’s terrible condition and acted quickly. He rushed her to a nearby local hospital and she was sent to the emergency unit. But it was all in vain and she was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital by the doctors.
The mother’s youngest child was said to be just 9 months old.
After her death, an autopsy was conducted, and then her body was transferred to her rural community hometown for the final rites and rituals.
Loved ones gathered in heaps as many couldn’t believe how such a young, healthy, and loving woman could pass away while doing her house chores.
The mother was buried yesterday in Gameleira do Di.
