“Stop Calling Me A Monster”- Mom Born With RARE Muscle Disorder Blasts Trolls That Make Fun Of Her


A mother who was reportedly born with the rare muscle disorder is now lashing out at her trolls that continue to make fun of her appearance on a routine basis.

27-year-old Lauren Behanna who hails from West Virginia suffers from a congenital disorder called myasthenic syndrome and which means it’s genetically related.

It leaves this mom in the most debilitating state as the condition causes a severe form of muscle weakness. But despite seeing her in this state, trolls have no mercy and they continue to make fun of her on a routine basis.

“I feel like a rag doll sometimes. It’s just so bad”- she went on to mention. Moreover, she can’t even move and that has left her wheelchair ridden and has even given her the most elongated face.

Lauren adds that she is quite often subjected to vicious online trolling and bashing due to her differences. And some nasty commenters have gone as far as mentioning that her look is scary enough to represent a monster.

Now, Lauren is a TikTok star and she feels that she is in the right position to tell others that it’s okay to be a little different than the rest. Similarly, she wants the world to know that judging a book by its cover is never the way to move forward in life. Therefore, she wants people to know that it’s not okay anymore.

“I am using my platform to raise more awareness of my condition. I am unbothered by my looks and the great online negativity that comes my way. I do not like to pay attention to such behavior because I can’t handle it” – she went on to mention.

With time, her quality of life has started to improve, thanks to all the meds she’s taking.
