Model and influencer Jeff Thomas has tragically died at the age of 35 after he fell from an apartment balcony in Miami.
The body was reportedly found outside the apartment building on March 8.
Police had received calls that the model had taken his own life, according to TMZ. He seemed to have jumped from the balcony but an official cause of death has yet to be established.
Sources told the news outlet that an autopsy has been conducted.
The 35-year-old had more than 120,000 followers on Instagram. He was signed to AMCK models and had appears in numerous runway shows and ads.
His last Instagram post shows him relaxing in a pool and he captioned: “A cold plunge a day, keeps the doctor away.”
After the news of his death broke out, his shocked friends and fans have flooded the post with comments, with one writing: “I met you many years ago in NY. You never failed to bring an up beat energy every time I saw you.
“We never know what people are really going through. I will use this as a reminder to ask people how they are more even when they seem happy on the outside. RIP Jeff.”
Another commented: “My sweet Jeff. We were just making plans, you were just making jokes, we were just daydreaming about Europe together. It’s so hard to process, to think that there won’t be a next time.”
“There’s such a void. I know deep down you know that. You know we loved you so much and always wanted the best for you, the same way you wanted it for everyone else. I’m going to miss you, your smile, your texts, your dancing so so so much,” it added.
A third said: “Hey Jeff I love you till the end of time My brotha from another’s motha. Rest easy my Dear friend. I’m at a loss of words.”
