Michelle Pfeiffer has dazzled her fans with a stunning selfie in which she showed off her natural beauty and her ageless appearance.
The actress has proved to her three million followers that she’s as stunning as ever at 65 as she boasted her smooth complexion and wrinkle-free face in a makeup-free snap.
For the occasion, the Scarface star sported a grey sweater and kept her looks simple with her golden hair flowing freely to her side and over her shoulder.
“Thank you all for hanging out with me here!!” she captioned her post.
The selfie shortly after the Ant-Man and the Wasp star spoke out about her decision to step away from the limelight and focus on private matters.
Speaking on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, the actress said she found herself “in this in-between place” where she didn’t feel like a “leading lady.”
“I wasn’t a grandma yet, but I, I wasn’t also like an ingenue. I was having babies and relocating the family (to Northern California)… I really underestimated what that meant,” she said.
“I sign on to do a part in a movie, it could be six months, it could be a year. I’m thinking about it all the time…. because once I commit, it’s just working on me and working on me, and I like to have just a blank slate ahead of me.”
Michelle went on to admit that her reluctance to take on roles in Hollywood projects earned her the nickname ‘Dr. No’ among her agents.
“How long does it shoot? What time of year does it shoot? Um, you know, can I bring the kids? Is it during the school year? Um, and then it, it was just too difficult to hire me, honestly. And I was okay with that,” the 3-time Oscar nominee added.
“They said ‘Mom, are you ever gonna go back to work?’ I said ‘What do you mean? Isn’t it great that I’m home?’ Honestly, I, I didn’t even realize how much time had gone by and I was kind of reading things on the way and there was just nothing that really, I liked enough that prompted me to wanna leave home.”
Eventually, however, Pfeiffer resumed her acting career and went on to appear in the likes of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
“I don’t look back. Like, I’m in Marvel world, who would have thought?” she said after first appearing in a Marvel movie in 2018. After her role in Ant-Man and The Wasp, Pfeiffer also appeared in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
