Second City comedian Michael Lehrer has passed away at the age of 44.

Sources from local media outlets were seen speaking about how the star was hailed as a great legend whose main aim was to spread smiles, wherever he went.

The star comedian was believed to have suffered from a five-year-long health battle that friends and loved ones claim he fought in a very brave manner.

The celeb was believed to have been suffering from ALS and tried to remain as silent as possible with all of his health battles.

His death has left the industry in shock after the news broke out yesterday from Portland, Oregon.

Many fans and followers were quick to offer their love and support to the family during this tough time of mourning for the family. In the same way, leading celebs from the entertainment industry also arrived with a long list of tributes for the comedian.

Speaking to a leading newspaper yesterday, Montague was believed to have passed away on his own terms and that really had many in more tears.

Meanwhile, other reports arose about how the leading celeb passed away from taking his own life with the assistance of another. But that’s when his family stepped in to deny such rumors and wished the world would give them some privacy.

“Michael died with dignity on his own terms. It was one of the hardest decisions of his life and he was not s*icidal at all. Medical aid in dying was the most difficult decision he had ever gone on to make.

Despite the neurodegenerative disease that came into his life, he never let that stop him from achieving big milestones. In fact, he was determined more than ever to work harder.
