Actress Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly were reportedly seen being slammed by critics and furious Christians over their recent Halloween get-up.
According to reports from local media outlets, the couple shocked the country when they chose to play with a very sensitive and controversial theme for this year’s Halloween.
While the couple is famous for being the talk of the town on several occasions, this just might not be the type of publicity they’re looking for.
Furious Christians were seen slamming the superstar and high-profile couple for being so insensitive and for mocking the religion of Christianity. And one person even went as far as calling them out as abhorrent and offensive.
According to the images that are now going viral on social media, the couple can be seen dressed as a priest and a barely clothed worshipper. And many felt that it was beyond inappropriate to play with a theme like that.
In the pictures, Megan could be seen donning a black-toned wet look while her lingerie teamed with fishnets and a dog collage too. The bondage and submissive attire were just too much for many people to handle and seeing a leash tied around her neck was also mindboggling to others.
MGK opted to wear a robe that was very similar to that seen in the daily wardrobe for a Catholic priest. He was also marked out for doing some really awkward stunts such as the placement of Communion wafers inside Megan Fox’s mouth.
The images that went viral really had people raising eyebrows at how daunting the pictures and theme were and also how the likes of emojis including rose beads and prayer hands took center stage.
The comments were plenty and as you can imagine, many people felt that cultural appropriation was just not being respected in this regard.
