Putin’s army carried out strikes on a maternity hospital last Wednesday that left the mother in an awful state, with many referring to the incident as the most brutal act of the war.

Moreover, an image of her being rescued by paramedics from the site of the incident on a stretcher was deemed to be one of the invasion’s most heartbreaking and moving pictures so far.

The fact that she was killed in the very same place that she thought would be the safest and also the only place where she assumed she would be able to give birth to a new life was just a far fetched reality that turned into a nightmare, due to the Russian strikes on the maternity ward.
