Recent reports coming in from New Orleans have revealed a mass stabbing incident that left five citizens injured.
According to the latest reports by law enforcement officers, the horrifying incident unfolded right after one person had been denied entry into the popular venue which was a bar.
All of a sudden, things went out of control and the person started to begin a huge fight and get violent all of a sudden, as revealed by one witness who happened to be present at the scene.
Tulane police rushed to the scene after frantic calls were made regarding a stabbing incident.
At least five people were left injured and that included one student who was reportedly from Loyola University. He happened to be working his shift at the bar, confirmed the police.
As of now, one male suspect has been taken into custody as police try to begin investigations into the horrifying case that spread panic and fear across the board.
Police are yet to reveal the identity of the suspect and what exactly his motive was behind the brawl and stabbings that got out of control in no time.
It has been reported by authorities that the male student who was injured was immediately transported to the hospital on an urgent basis but his injuries were not described as life-threatening by officials.
As of now, there are no reports regarding the condition of the four other individuals involved.
Right after the horrifying incident had taken place, many alerts were released to students from Loyola University ad well as Tulane, where they were informed to prevent visits to the area involved.
One member of the Tulane community says that news of the violence has been truly shocking, especially on a day where joy was being celebrated during a festival in New Orleans.
