The 29-year-old suspect accused of killing Olivia Pratt-Korbel has reportedly been arrested.
According to local media outlets, the cops managed to finally trace him down and raided his residence after they found clues that led to his whereabouts.
A total of three different properties had been raided in the West Derby, sources confirmed. And that’s when they finally tracked him down in Liverpool during the early hours of today.
The hunt for the innocent 9-year-old’s murderer was on a lot of people’s minds as the family and community urged the authorities to intervene and help bring justice after she was shot to death at her own residence last week.
According to local media outlets, the gunman shot dead the little victim who ducked behind her mother. She had no idea of what to expect as the sounds of gunshots filled the air. And in the end, several bullets that were meant for another person pierced right into her, killing her instantly.
The offender has now been taken into police custody, sources explained.
The suspect has been taken into custody and that is where he is said to be interrogated by detectives regarding the matter.
At the moment, the police in Merseyside are still on the search for three different properties that were raided today.
Meanwhile, the cops are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and assist with this particular investigation that is linked to little Olivia’s death.
On the other hand, other reports spoke about how four men who had been arrested at first in connection to the incident have since then been released as the real killer is now in police custody.
