Brendan Fraser won the award for Best Actor at last night’s Oscars event but the struggle has been real for the celeb.

The star took the stage with tears rolling down his face as the struggle for him has been real in the industry. From battling intense bouts of depression to being blacklisted in Hollywood too- there have been plenty of lows.

The actor took home the award for the film titled Whale but while accepting the famous golden gong, he literally broke down into tears.

So far, it has really been an incredible path for the celeb in terms of returning to his glory in the Hollywood Industry. He has really struggled with so much in such a short span of time that many felt this was his moment of return and shine.

Many critics felt the star deserved all the praise in the world as his acting in the hit movie was phenomenal and really did deserve a round of applause.

The movie features the superstar who is 600 lbs and works as an English Literature lecturer. Here is where he tries everything possible to try and reconnect with his teenage daughter.

But this is definitely not the first time that we’ve seen this celeb receive accolades for his role in the movie.

He’s got plenty of standing ovations for his performance at other film festivals too. And it all began last year in September at the Venice Film Festival. And that is what reportedly paved his path to his win at the Oscars this year.

His acceptance speech was undoubtedly heartfelt and really moved so many audience members to tears. The star just couldn’t hold his tears back and expressed how grateful he felt for this wonderful honor that has not come easy for him.
