Singer Cardi B has been sentenced for her involvement in a major brawl that took place at a renowned strip club in Los Angeles.
According to local media outlets, the singer was found guilty of taking part in the incident that took place in 2018.
Meanwhile, sources claim it has been long since the star turned herself into the New York City police after the brawl ensued at the strip club in Queens.
At that time, she was believed to have thrown objects such as chairs at people located inside.
Therefore, she was charged with reckless and unacceptable behavior, including assault and putting the lives of so many others in danger. And on that note, she pleaded guilty to a part of her deal.
While sources claim Cardi B was originally set to go to trial, her own plea deal allowed her to avoid the whole ordeal. And that means she would only be charged with assault and reckless endangerment. Meanwhile, at least 10 other charges against her name were dropped.
The entire brawl at the strip club began all of a sudden when Cardi B reportedly encountered a woman who she claimed was having an affair with her husband, Offset.
The news was very bothersome to her as it would be to anyone; hence, the starlet got furious and extremely violent in seconds.
Witnesses claim they had never seen the rapper so aggressive, and it was just a showdown between her side and a few others.
The woman was standing at the bar and attending to visitors. And that was when Cardi B arrived and got violent, targeting them with champagne bottles.
The representative from the victim’s side says Cardi B feels that her celebrity status puts her way above the law, and that should not be the case. Therefore, she requested higher officials to intervene and not let her get away with something as violent as this.
