A teacher who was reportedly snubbed for being too hot to handle is speaking out for the first time.
The woman revealed during a recent interview how much she adored her profession to bits. And according to her, beauty and brains can be a deadly combo because it really irks your competitors.
In her case, she says that she has had immense love for the teaching profession, and for that reason, there was no harm in looking beautiful for students.
But that was certainly not the way her employers looked at the matter. They felt her dress was too flashy and insensitive for a professional environment where you’ve got kids located around you.
“They fired me because they claim my outfits were not appropriate. I couldn’t disagree more. It’s my beauty that really got to them”- revealed the teacher named Patrice Brown.
It’s also awfully interesting to note how she’s a year one educator and for that reason, she finds it beyond bizarre how she could get the boot for something like that.
Patrice has also openly admitted to the great amount of bullying that has come her way, right before she was terminated from her job at a leading educational institution in Atlanta.
In 2016, the instructor went viral with the hashtag ‘teacher bae’ and that’s when a lot of people got to know her. Her tight leggings and low necklines became a signature mark for her style but not for too long.
“I love taking pictures of myself at work. What’s the issue with that? I’m doing it in my free time and not in front of students”- she continued.
