According to local media outlets, CNN host Don Lemon was beyond speechless when he was forced into an awkward silence by one royal commentator’s remarks.

Lemon interviewed Hilary Fordwich last week. And now, one clip from the interview has turned into the talk of the town. It went viral on Tuesday, and people can’t stop talking about it since then.

The CNN host was seen speaking about whether or not the British royal family should pay slavery reparations or not.

But Fordwich questioned his reasoning behind the statement and then even opted to place the whole blame on African leaders. Moreover, she even began to argue about how all descendants of the African Kings should pay reparations. And that comment is all it took to leave him in absolute awe.

“They are the ones who sold their own people into slavery,”- she boldly confirmed, and he was just unbelievably shocked at what sentiments and points of view she had on the controversial matter.

But she didn’t stop there; she continued to say how the African kings used to round up their own people and had them waiting in cages on the beaches.

Seeing Fordwich put the blame right back on the leaders of the slaves really left the host stunned.

Before things took a turn for the worst, he decided to add how this discussion was definitely interesting. And that’s when he opted to immediately conclude the interview before something more offensive came out of the commentator’s mouth.
