Instead of looking after her own kids, she says that she would prefer to go to the office any day because it’s not only fun and entertaining but also so much easier.

The working mother says she’s been working most of her life and she wouldn’t change it for the world. She adds how her work keeps her sane and there are days when she feels the need to just spend long hours in the office because the trauma of going back to young and screaming children who throw tantrums at her is just not her thing.

The young mother’s claims are just a little too much for netizens to relate to. They felt mortified to learn about a mother behaving in such a manner with her own children.

Hence they bashed her and felt the need to talk some sense into her that children are a bigger priority than work and should never be neglected in this manner.

Sarah Torresan who hails from Melbourne added how she’s got immense respect for mothers that stay home and look after their children all they long.

But according to her, this is not something that she’s willing to do. “I’d go insane if you took my work away from me and make me homebound to take care of my children”- she added.

What made netizens more confused is how she related her office time to her me time. This is the point in time that she listens to music alone and all sorts of podcasts without any thought. But is that enough of a justification to put work above taking care of your kids? Let us know in the comments section and be sure to SHARE the story with others too.
