Week two of the $100 million defamation trial between actor Johnny Depp and Amber Heart began with a bang and it’s safe to say that there was plenty of drama.
Johnny Depp was seen sporting a very different look than his usual court appearances as he looked dapper wearing dark shades and had his hair tied into a sleek ponytail.
On the other hand, Amber Heard chose to keep her locks to one side as she was seen donning a black tailor-fitted suit for her appearance.
During the session, the courtroom was in silence as a text message sent by Johnny Depp to his doctor was read out loud.
Depp reportedly hired a famed Beverly Hills doctor named Dr. David Kipper to help overcome his opioid addiction. Other famous celeb clients of the doctor included the likes of Ozzy Osborne, amongst others.
Johnny Depp told his doctor that he had taken another pill because he simply couldn’t handle Amber Heard’s craziness.
“I took another one. She is full of sh*t like a Christmas Goose”- the actor wrote. Similarly, he mentioned how he couldn’t live like this, clearly indicating how fed up he had become with Heard.
The footage was pre-recorded and played in the courtroom, showing how the actor approached his doctor in 2014 to engineer a plan to help get him on the right track to being sober and quitting his opioid addiction.
Depp continued to rant about Amber Heard to his doctor, stating he was done, and there was no more room for reconciliation.point 394 |
“You know what is so much more hurtful than her degrading educational ranting? It’s her hurtful tirades and shocking statements about a man she was supposed to love above all others”- he continued.point 183 | 1
And in the end, Johnny Depp says that the biggest reason why he was approached by her was that she was so ambitious and self-obsessed while being hungry for fame and success, and for that he couldn’t be sadder.
