A trans man is sharing his struggle of getting a smear test and how he had put off the ordeal because of his fear of showing off his hairy legs.
Meet William Cuthbert who says that living life as a trans man has really taken a toll on his life. He revealed that the fact that he has a vagina shouldn’t matter because it does not make him less of a man.
But some of his insecurities had to do with the simple fact that people were always judging him and that’s when he opted to put his issue in the spotlight as this week is trans awareness week.point 450 |

William who works as a freelance writer revealed how life can really be tough because he was so nervous about the medical professionals who were about to treat him.
The thought of exposing his skin really irked him and he was scared of what they would feel or think of a trans individual making his way inside because of his female private parts.
The fact that the smear test was overdue meant he really needed to put all things to the side and start booking his appointment.
“I was overwhelmed with so much anxiety! I had a huge chest and hairy legs. It was bound to raise questions!”- he mentioned.
It was the thought of stripping down from the waist below that really had him wondering what people’s reactions would be ever since he decided to come out as a man. But after hearing and seeing how brave he was in the end, people are definitely applauding his bravery.
