BREAKING: Len Goodman’s Cause Of Death Is Confirmed


Len Goodman’s cause of death has been confirmed after the Strictly Come Dancing judge died at the age of 78.

The iconic English ballroom dancer and dance teacher spent 12 years on the British reality TV show that sees professional dancers compete in dancing.

It was now revealed that Goodman died back in April as a result of a cancer relapse after initially fighting the disease off in 2009.

According to the performer’s death certificate, Goodman died from prostrate cancer that had spread to his bones.

It was since his tragic passing also revealed that Goodman died at a hospice in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, surrounded by his loved ones.

The legendary ballroom dancer previously spoke to the Mail on Sunday back in 2009 after undergoing treatment to remove cancerous growths.

“The doctors felt I wasn’t riddled with it and it wasn’t so far advanced that it was a life-or-death scenario. It takes a few weeks to get everything set up for the operation anyway, so I went ahead and did the show,” he said at the time.

In the years that followed, Goodman continued working until his retirement just months before his death in April.

Announcing his retirement last November, the dancing judge explained: “It has been a huge pleasure to be part of such a wonderful show, but I’ve decided I’d like to spend more time with my grandchildren and family back in Britain.”

After his passing earlier this year, tributes to Goodman began pouring in.

“Len Goodman was a wonderful, warm entertainer who was adored by millions. He appealed to all ages and felt like a member of everyone’s family. Len was at the very heart of Strictly’s success. He will be hugely missed by the public and his many friends and family,” BBC director general Tim Davie expressed.
