An entire village in Ukraine was brought down to its knees in sorrow after learning about the death of a loving mother and her seven-year-old child.
According to local media reports, the duo was killed in a horrifying missile strike by Russian armed forces recently, which left more than 200 people wounded and several other victims such as young children dead.
The news spread like wildfire about the victims’ death, causing the whole village to enter into a unified state of mourning as they all gathered together to pay their final respects on the somber occasion.
Sources revealed that the victims were identified as 35-year-old Viktoria Rekuta and her seven-year-old son named Maxim who passed away tragically on Thursday after Putin’s missiles struck their home in Vinnytsia.
The residents claim they are tired of hearing about the death of so many loving and innocent people who have done absolutely nothing to deserve this punishment. But their prayers and cries of help are remaining unanswered as the atrocities of war continue to weigh heavily on the nation that continues to be engulfed in war.
Reports from local media sources confirmed how two other young kids had been put to rest as they were critically wounded during the July 14th strike.
The mother and son are now being mourned by hundreds. Little Maxim was described as a wonder child who was so bright and kind while his mom was remembered as a beautiful and kind woman.
The country is calling upon the world to recognize Russia as a terrorist state because they feel that no matter how many lives would be lost, Putin’s evil regime would continue to target many more.
