A father from Texas has reportedly taken his own life after his own kids passed away in a tragic car accident in 2015.
According to local media outlets, the man who hails from Ontario had three young kids and they were killed at the hands of a drunk driver. The car crash reportedly took place in the year 2015. Hence, the grief of him being torn away from his family was just too much for him to bear. And in the end, he passed away.
Edward Lake was reportedly found dead at his own home on Monday. The heartbreaking news was announced by the York regional police chief named Jim Macsween.
“These losses that have taken place with the Neville-Lake family are just too heartbreaking”- the police chief mentioned on Twitter recently.
Lake was reportedly taken into full custody and then released on Monday during the early hours of the morning, right after an incident had taken place at his own residence. This is where the police stated that they were left with no decision but to taser him.
The police are believed to have called his residence again in regards to some suspicious behavior taking place in his own backyard. And that’s when they realized that the dad had taken his own life.
“It appears to us that the dad wanted to be with his children at their final resting place. He says he wanted to be with them forever. This is just so tragic”- the cops revealed.
