Shocking reports are shedding light on the actions of a cruel couple who opted to leave their seven kids inside a tiny home with 35 dogs.
The couple has now been jailed for their evil actions and intentions as the incident reportedly unfolded in East Sussex.
The judge ruled in favor of the innocent victims and called out the parents for severe ill-treatment of the kids at their own residences. Moreover, the suspects were identified as 35-year-old Christopher Bennett and 41-year-old Gemma Brogan.
They were both also charged with child neglect at the Lewes Crown Court as the kids were found to be living in the direst and repugnant conditions imaginable.
In the same way, the judge spoke about how the couple had parted ways with the $8500 that they used to get for their kids. Instead of using it for the kids and their needs, they felt the need to be greedy and take it upon themselves.
The couple would be serving six years of jail time each for their awful actions related to pleading guilty to seven counts of child neglect. And if that was not enough, they were even found guilty of animal cruelty after getting prosecuted by the RSPCA.
In June of 2021, the cops were called to their residence at the three-bedroom home in East Sussex after rumors of a domestic abuse incident surfaced. And when they arrived, they were in shock and awe at what had taken place.
This was not normal, how could anyone do something of this sort, was the type of reaction the officers had.
Not only was their filth everywhere, but the kids were also in the most neglected state, some wearing soiled nappies while a dead dog lay covered in animal feces.
Everything was just in the most unimaginably disgusting state that you would ever see.
