Kanye West has made headlines after arriving at a Paris Fashion Week show in a black ensemble while sporting what appeared as a bruised cheek and a bloodied face.
The 45-year-old rapper, who recently changed his name to Ye, was spotted at the Givenchy show where he marked his Paris Fashion Week appearance with an unusual look.
Donning a dark grey hoodie and a black baseball cap, the singer complemented his looks with a pair of jeans and $600 Balenciaga x Crocs boots.
The ‘Power’ hitmaker also wore a Balenciaga mouthguard and sported what appeared to be makeup resembling a bloodied nose and bruised cheek as he walked around while an assistant followed him with an umbrella.
After the pictures of the musician went viral, some people were quick to suggest that the bruise and the bleeding might have been a result of Ye’s bout with a mystery person.
Others, however, suggested it was all part of his makeup to promote the Balenciaga mouthguard that he proudly displayed in front of the cameras.
The entrepreneur previously partner with the luxury fashion house to create the ‘Yeezy GAP engineered by Balenciaga’ collection that just dropped new products including jackets and sweaters last week.
According to its website, the collection features a variety of retail clothing that starts at the price of $80 upward.
As the Entrepreneur reported, Ye recently announced the end of his partnership with Gap after just two years of collaboration even though their contract was supposed to be for a 10-year deal.
“I’m sorry, I am not going to argue with people that are broker than me about money,” he said of the matter in an interview with CNBC.
