The son of Melrose Place actor Jack Wagner was found dead in a parking lot at the age of just 27.
Harrison Wagner, the musician son of the General Hospital star, was reportedly found dead at a parking lot in North Hollywood on Monday.
The 27-year-old’s discovery comes after the young man’s long battle with addiction. Previously, in 2016, Harrison went missing for almost one week following a relapse.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, the young man was pronounced dead at 5:14 am on Monday. The cause of death is expected to be confirmed following the autopsy.
Harrison’s divorced parents, Jack and Kristina Wagner, have yet to comment on the passing of their son.
The actress’s latest Instagram post dates back to May 20 when she shared a photo of herself sitting on the stairs along with her sons Peter and Harrison.
“A bittersweet farewell to the place we called Wagner Ranch for 25 years. The prickly beauty of the high desert and a landscape surrounded by national forests always reminded us that there is peace when you are willing to look for it,” she wrote.
“Oh Ranch, it’s time to part. We’ll miss you so much with our heartwarming memories. We know that there are many opportunities for joy ahead.”
The 27-year-old’s death comes years after he went missing for nearly a week. At the time, his father had spoken out and revealed his son was struggling with addiction.
“I’m going to ask those who want to share their fears, addictions & struggles to do so w me via Twitter. We can face them 2gether, I’ll start,” Jack Wagner wrote.
“I fear for my youngest son’s safety. Harrison has struggled w drugs & alcohol just as I did when I was younger. He’s relapsed & is MIA 5 days.”
