Russia has stepped up its brutal attacks on the 12th day of invasion as sources confirm the tragic losses of two heroic personalities hailing from Ukraine.
According to local media reports, casualties in the war-torn nation continue to rise as a 33-year-old Ukrainian film star was shot dead by Russian forces.
The victim was identified as Pasha Lee who reportedly was an actor and then turned into a soldier for Ukraine’s territorial defense position in the forces.
His death reportedly took place on March 6 due to intense Russian shelling taking place in Irpin, as announced by the Odesa International Film Festival.
Lee had gained great fame while working as a television host, actor, as well as a composer too.
His claim to fame included a number of television shows as well as films that included Oleksii Sharparev’s movie titled ‘The Fight Rules.’
One of the actor’s costars, actress Anastasiya Kasilova, was quick to post a tribute for Lee on her Facebook where she not only mourned his tragic death but acknowledged his services for the nation.
“He was an actor, a great television presenter, and my colleague. He was such a great company”- she added by boldly mentioning ‘Never Forgive’ in the end.
But the casualties didn’t stop there. As a local mayor was also reportedly gunned down while delivering medicine to the sick and wounded in his area.
The victim was identified as 61 year Yuriy Prilipko who headed the Gostomel Village, which is present on the northwest side of the capital city of Kyiv.
He was aiding his community by handing out medicine and bread to his vulnerable people but during the act of kindness, Russian forces brutally shot him dead.
Both men are being praised for their outstanding community service and devotion to defending their nation.
