Today may not have been Johnny Depp’s day in the courtroom after Amber Heard and her legal team brought forward a series of horrifying images that showcased the types of abuse inflicted by the actor.
Jurors were silently observing the graphic nature of the images that featured a somber-looking Amber Heard posing in front of the camera after suffering intense abuse at the hands of her former husband.
On Monday, the images were unleashed by the celeb’s legal team that showed all sorts of bruises covering up her face, while the actress continues to take the witness stand and deny that the article mentioned in the Washington Post had anything to do with Johnny Depp.
After undergoing an explosive cross-questioning battle with Johnny Depp’s attorney, many felt that the ball may have been in Depp’s court. But one look is all it takes to understand that these images are pretty bad and they may certainly take a hard hit on Depp’s clean image.
The actress appears to be suffering from a red and swollen face, and that’s when Amber Heard spoke about the images taken just a day after the couple had gone through an intense fight.
“This is when he struck a phone directly at my face”- Amber Heard stated to the jury in a rather bold tone.
When questioned about what was untrue in the op-ed written by the Washington Post about the actress’s relationship, she says that nothing was untrue. In addition, she affirmed that it was all real but she never pointed fingers or mentioned Johnny Depp’s name anywhere in the article.
“This article was not about Johnny Depp. Nobody thought it was about Johnny except for Johnny himself”- Amber Heard stated in a confident tone while giving her testimony.
