Amber Heard’s former friend has returned to the stand with a fresh set of allegations concerning Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
Raquel Pennington, an MMA fighter who was a close friend of the couple before they went separate ways, yesterday appeared in court and recalled Amber Heard doing drugs before revealing she got slapped by the actress during one of their fights.
Now, Pennington returned to the stand and recalled taking photos of injuries Amber allegedly suffered during her fight with Johnny Depp on December 15, 2015.
While she admitted she hadn’t seen the actual fight, Pennington said she responded to Amber’s call and took a picture of her bleeding scalp after her hair had been “ripped out.”
As Pennington recalled, the actress had a red face and a laceration on her forehead. She was allegedly also bleeding from the spot where her hair had been ripped out.
The couple’s former close friend went on to recall a 2016 fight during which Depp allegedly thrashed one of his penthouses and smashed bottles.
“He continued to yell, I went over and stepped between them,” she said of the fight before admitting she never actually saw the actor hurt Heard or throw anything at her.
“I was scared for Amber. I was sad for her and I was also sad for Johnny. Because he’s my friend too. I really wanted them to get it together,” she added.
Breaking into tears, Raquel also noted she had seen injuries on Amber Heard’s face on several occasions during her relationship with Depp.
She further insisted that allegations about Amber using makeup to fake her injuries are fake.
In another shocking twist, Pennington also claimed that Johnny Depp once told her that he was the one to cut off his finger during the couple’s massive fight in Australia in 2015.
