“I am in so much pain right now. Today, I lost my mother to gun violence,” the grandmother’s daughter, Geraldine Greenwood-Lashley, wrote in a tear-jerking Facebook post as she shared a photo of the old lady alongside her grandson.

“This picture was just taken minutes before she was killed by a stray bullet meant for someone else. This started from a fight between two young ladies. Now the families of three people lives will forever be changed.”

After begging people to “stop the violence,” Geraldine addressed the two women who killed her mother over a dispute that didn’t concern her at all.

“Today you took my world away from me and my family, all you had to do was walk away. It was graduation for my son, my mom was so happy to see her youngest grandchild graduate. You have ruined my son and families world, all you had to do was walk away,” she added.
