The cops have confirmed how they managed to stumble upon a dead body of a young child but have failed to confirm if it was linked to the missing 4-year-old who was recently reported missing.
The detectives handling the case have called the finding beyond tragic but they failed to mention if it belonged to the child in question or not.

In a new statement that was released by the FBI and Oklahoma police today, the remains of the young individual found were sent to the forensic department for investigation and examination to determine the identity.
Athena was only reported missing when a mail carrier reportedly found her 5-year-old sister roaming around on the streets outside their residence in Cyril, Oklahoma.
But her reported caregiver says her estranged husband beat the living daylights out of the child and ended up burying her remails in Rush Springs. And that is what really makes this tragedy worse, sources mentioned.
