13-year-old Neeka Atkinson from Britain was at the Archbishop Sentamu Academy playground when she was approached by a boy who picked her up by her neck before dropping her head-first onto the concrete pavement.

According to the reports, the boy “walked away laughing” while the girl was crying in pain.

After the teen was rushed to the hospital, doctors confirmed she developed a large blood clot and suffered a brain bleed as a result of being dropped on her head.

As Neeka’s family confirmed, the girl was left paralyzed and with serious brain damage because of the ordeal.

“From what we know, he picked her up by her neck at first and then slammed her head first into the concrete, then walked away laughing,” Neeka’s sister, Alisha Atkinson, said.

“She began fitting and her eyes were rolling and she was being sick. She was rushed to hospital, they induced her into a coma and did a CT scan immediately. They found that she had a big blood clot on her brain and also a bleed on the brain – within minutes she was rushed to surgery which took four hours.

“They don’t have the facilities to keep her in Hull Royal, so she is waiting for a transfer to either Leeds or Sheffield. They said any further hospitals they try to send her to will be too far and she won’t make it.”

As of this writing, Neeka remains in a stable condition but is unable to walk, speak, or use the right side of her face.
