The hearing heard that Faith told Ms. Nicholson she was experiencing daily suicidal thoughts, adding she felt ‘unable’ to keep herself safe.

However, the teen’s parents were not informed and she explained that she had a ‘very heavy caseload at the time.’

Faith was found in the bedroom by her mother the next evening after she spent the day with her friends.

Coroner John Pollard ruled the teen “did not intend to bring about her death.”

“I know from the evidence I have heard that Faith had, on several occasions, tried to end her life. All of her actions amounted to a series of cries for help or attention.

“This was not a systemic failure but simply a question of volume of work.”

Faith’s grieving father, Lee, is now urging people with mental health issues to seek help.

“I still can’t believe she’s gone,” he expressed. “She was laughing and joking all day long and then the next day she’s gone. No one can believe it’s happened.”

“Christmas is going to be really hard. Normally I would be taking her shopping, getting her whatever she wants,” he continued.
