A 4-week-old baby girl from Georgia has reportedly passed away due to alcohol poisoning.
According to local media reports, the child’s own parents were involved in her death as cops claim the evil father had poured booze into her little baby bottle so she would drink it and die.
The horrifying incident took place on April 13 and the suspects have been named by the police as Marquis Colvin and Sydnei Dunn. They were both immediately arrested by authorities in regards to the child’s murder.
Doctors revealed to the respective authorities how the amount of alcohol present in the baby’s blood was four times that allowed for the average adult. And that just goes to show the toxicity that led to her sudden death in Georgia.
The Sherrif’s Department says they’re still investigating the horrifying incident and hence are not aware as of yet which beverage was poured into the child’s bottle by her father. But it did confirm that it was certainly alcoholic in nature.
The initial investigation started to inform on April 12 at about 3:30 pm in the afternoon. This was the time when the Sheriff’s deputies had been called in by staff members present at Atlanta’s Children’s Healthcare Facility.
They were shocked and saddened to learn how the victim was just four weeks old and brought in by her own parents. They also revealed how she entered in an unresponsive state and they feared for the worst, after seeing her blood toxicology report.
“We didn’t quite understand what was going on. The pieces of the puzzle failed to make any sense and that’s why he had no choice but to call in the law enforcement agencies to intervene”- the hospital elaborated.
At first, the mom said that the baby could have gotten poisoned from her breast milk but later, she changed her story and put the blame on the father who was responsible.
