JUST IN: Two-Year-Old Girl Who Was Found Unresponsive In A Pond Has Been Identified And Pictured


The two-year-old girl who died after she was found floating in a pond near her family’s home has been identified and pictured.

Annabelle Mackey, 2, was a “gorgeous and beautiful little girl” who died in the hospital after she was found unresponsive in the Kingsley Pond just some one hundred yards away from her family’s home in Kingsley, England.

According to the reports, the police have since arrested a woman in her 40s on suspicion of murder. The suspect’s relation to the child was not immediately revealed.

It was also revealed that the girl was found in poor condition shortly after her parents reported her mysterious disappearance On Sunday afternoon.

Shocked neighbors and locals have since the tragic news spoken out and said they were “shocked to the core” by the death of the “sweet” and “shy” toddler.

”She was gorgeous, she was a beautiful little girl,” one father said. “We’ve met her, we always said hello, she used to say hi. At Halloween we get a lot of decorations around the house for our little one and Annabelle used to come in and look at the decorations.”

“It’s just so heartbreaking, I had to come and pay my respects,” a mother-of-two added.

“That poor, poor little girl. You can’t imagine the pain her family must be going through. The unknown is so scary, it’s frightening to think of what happened.”

Meanwhile, witnesses recalled the shocking moment the police swarmed the pond and closed off the area.

“Within 20 minutes of the first car pulling up, this place was flooded with vans and police. This place was jammed,” a local said.

“The whole place was cordoned off and then basically we were asked by CID if we had any footage on our camera, which we do… There’s nothing, we can’t see the little one, the family, nothing. We were quite worried at the same time, we’ve got a six-year-old girl.”

The neighbor added: “A two-year-old has lost her life, it’s absolutely terrible. We’ve met her, we always said ‘Hello’ and she used to say ‘Hi.’ At Halloween Annabel used to come in and look at the decorations.

“This has shocked us to the core. When Annabel popped round, our daughter would pop out and speak to her. She was gorgeous, she was a beautiful little girl.”
