Tragic reports coming in from Maryland have confirmed the death of a 12-year-old girl who happened to be driving a car with her stepdad in the passenger seat.
According to local media reports, the underage driver was stated to have been behind the wheel of a vehicle that eyewitnesses claim shot off the road and slammed into a tree.
The victim was identified as 12-year-old Josseline Molin-Rivas. Meanwhile, sources revealed how her stepdad who was sitting in the front of the car with her is now in a state of coma.
This tragic incident took place last Sunday, leaving her entire family in a state of shock and disbelief as their loving family was torn apart right in front of their eyes.
According to reports by police officers who arrived at the scene of the tragedy, the youngster was driving the vehicle on Broken Land Parkway which is located in Columbia. At that time, it was believed to be 2 am. The victim’s mother revealed how she was at home during those late hours of the night and had no idea what her daughter was up to.
Her 36-year-old stepfather was critically injured in the accident and is still unresponsive as doctors claim he’s in a state of coma.
“I woke from my bed and realized that my daughter was missing, I just began to panic and worry because it was just so late into the night”- she mentioned.
The mother added that she didn’t feel her girl and there were all sorts of wrong thoughts entering her mind but little did she know that her sixth sense was working and her child had been killed in a horrific car crash on that very same night.
“I couldn’t seem to locate my car keys. I didn’t know where my daughter was too. It was just all so wrong”- the mother began to cry.
The mother revealed that she didn’t know where the duo was going and why they chose to sneak out in the middle of the night, leaving her in a state of mourning and grief regarding her daughter’s tragic death.
