Gacy’s trial into his unspoken crimes began in 1980. He will typically lure his victims to his home then deceive them into putting on handcuffs as he was going to demonstrate a magic trick. He will then rape and torture his captive before killing him by either asphyxiation or strangulation with a garrote.

According to Gacy, he committed all of his murders inside his ranch house near Norridge, a village in Norwood Park Township, metropolitan Chicago, Illinois. He became one of America’s most infamous murderers of all time.

As a part of his last wishes, Gacy wished to eat a bucket of KFC for his last Death Row Meal. On behalf of the wickedness crimes of Gacy, after authorities executed him, experts removed his brain so they could find any insight into what made him behave the way he did.

The Brain was placed in the possession of Dr. Helen Morrison, a witness for the serial killer’s defense at his trial, who also owns slices of all of his internal organs.

Dr. Morrison said: “The brain is in the safest place it can be. We have it in our home in an area in the basement that is secure and not accessible. The vile serial killer’s brain does not uncover many clues about what triggered his sickening crimes.”

She also said that she rejected a number of calls from people who wants to see it since his execution in 1994. Gacy’s brain was studied by anonymous researchers but with all of their best, they discovered no sign of abnormalities.

Dr. Morrison explained: “They basically told us that there’s nothing abnormal, no tumor, no growth, no sign of any injury. Murder is just an action. It has no meaning. It has no motive. It has no underlying cause. The most frightening part about a serial killer is there is no reason.”

Gacy, the evil murderer, earned the nickname “The Killer Clown” as he performed at children’s hospitals and charitable events dressed as a clown. His horrifying murder spree was finally stopped by his arrest in December 1978. In US legal history, his case covered the most homicides by one individual.

He spent 14 years in jail as a part of his Death Row before his execution by lethal injection at Statesville Correctional Center, Crest Hill, Illinois. He certainly made sure he went out with a bang with a hearty final meal before his execution.

The murderer tucked into a bucket of KFC’s original recipe chicken, a dozen deep-fried shrimp, french fries, a pound of strawberries, and a bottle of diet Coke. Perhaps Gacy thought chowing down on KFC would be a fitting end for him.

Gacy even insisted on being called the “Colonel” during his work with the United States Junior Chamber, a nationwide leadership training organization also known as the Jaycees.

A condemned prisoner’s last meal is a customary ritual preceding execution. In many countries, the prisoner may, within reason, select what the last meal will be. In the United States, most states give the meal a day or two before execution and use the euphemism “special meal”.
