The celeb made sure he acknowledged his eldest son who happens to be autistic while accepting the night’s most prestigious award which was for Best Actor.

The celeb arrived at the grand event with his two other sons but his eldest one was nowhere to be found. But if you think this loving father would forget him, well, think again.

Brendan Fraser received the honor for the evening of Best Actor and the first thing he did was give his eldest son with autism a big shoutout regarding how much he misses him during this historic moment of his career.

After winning his golden gong, he said, ‘Griffin, I love you so much buddy!’- and after that, he got a huge round of applause.

Fraser has never been shy whenever it came down to reveal his personal life. And his son Griffin is no exception. He did detail his constant struggles with weight and autism. And both of these moments have really taken a toll on his life in general.

Therefore, when the actor played the breakthrough role of an obese father who works as a literature lecturer and is trying hard to reconnect with his daughter, Fraser had to speak about his son and how much he could relate to the subject of obesity.

“I know exactly what it feels like to be a parent to a child that is struggling with his weight”- the celeb explained.

The actor further revealed how he understands that his son is a special child and what it feels like to be his dad. “He’s got big hands and feet and is so tall. But that does not make him any different. I love him just as much as I love my other children”- he went on to add.
