BREAKING: Four Students Who Were Found DEAD In Off-Campus Housing Have Finally Been Identified


The four students who were found dead in off-campus housing on Sunday have been identified, police revealed.

According to reports, University of Idaho students 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves, 21-year-old Madison Mogen, 20-year-old Ethan Chapin, and 20-year-old Xana Kernodle died in a homicide on King Road.

Kernodle from Avondle, Arizona, was a junior majoring in marketing, while Chapin from Conway, Washington, was a freshman studying recreation, sport and tourism management, University officials said.

The two seemed to be dating as per their social media profiles.

Goncalves from Rathdrum, Idaho, was a senior majoring in general studies in College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, while Moden from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, was a senior majoring in marketing.

Only hours before they were found dead, Goncalves shared photos of her with Chapin, Kernodle and Mogen outside a house.

Police responded to a call of an unconscious person at the house on Sunday. But when they arrived, they discovered that all four people were dead inside the apartment.

Police Capt. Tyson Berrett later announced that all the deceased were students at the university.

It is still not clear how they died but police are considering it a homicide.

School President Scott Greene released a statement and revealed how he and his wife were left heartbroken by the tragic news.

“Words cannot adequately describe the light these students brought to this world or ease the depth of suffering we feel at their passing under these tragic circumstances,” he wrote.

“No one feels that loss more than their families and friends.

“The university is working directly with those affected and is committed to supporting all students, families and employees as this event undeniably touches all of us.”
